Cengage Learning’s CourseMate (previously WebTutor) supports the printed textbook with interactive learning and exam preparation tools. CourseMate includes an integrated eBook; interactive quizzes, flashcards and videos and Engagement Tracker, a first-of-its-kind tool that monitors student engagement in the course. Online Learning Companions are dynamic websites that give students access to a variety of study tools, practice activities and chapter-by-chapter assessments.

This online learning companion is a supplementary website to Alan Gelb’s The Complete Student. It contains additional resources that support the core text, including: quizzes, examples, vocabulary and helpful links. WebTutors are supplemental courseware that use online content to complement Cengage Learning paralegal textbooks. I created WebTutors for the 5th edition of Introduction to Law by Beth Walston-Dunham (16 chapters) and the 4th edition of Fundamentals of Law Office Management: Systems, Procedures and Ethics by Pamela Everett-Nollkamper (14 chapters). For each chapter,  I wrote: an overview, objectives, online class notes, frequently asked questions about the topic, a study sheet, a glossary, class discussion questions, matching questions, multiple choice questions, true/false questions and web resources.

 

 

 

100% Online Student Success is a textbook was written by psychologist, Roxanne DuVivier. I edited it for voice and did research/writing for the chapters on Health, Communication and Technology. I then created the Online Learning Companion (for students) by writing assessments, tip sheets and web resources for each of the nine chapters. I was also asked to edit the Online Learning Companion (for instructors). I edited lesson plans, created nine more quizzes and wrote PowerPoint presentations to be used in teaching the material.  

This online companion is a supplementary website to Peter Hess’ Career Success, Right Here, Right Now! It includes useful resources to support the text, including: tips, PowerPoint reviews, web links, worksheets and more that are available for browsing here.

For this project, I used the 5th edition of The Theory and Practice of Therapeutic Massage by Mark F. Beck in creating overviews and quiz questions (with answers ) for 22 chapters. You can view the course and samples here.
