Milady U’s online university provides continuing education courses to salon and spa owners, technicians and stylists. Working with subject matter expert Susie Carder, I created five online courses for salon/spa professionals. For each course, I wrote 4-5 sections of instruction, 10 speeches presented by an industry professional in avatar form, 4 PowerPoint presentations, 20-25 quiz questions and a final exam. If you’ve seen my crazy hair, you’re probably thinking: WTF is this guy doing writing about salon stuff? Well, it’s just testament to the wonderful partnership that can exist between a patient and knowledgeable SME and a passionate and inquisitive writer.
