A custom textbook is a mash-up between an existing textbook and a course instructor’s fresh syllabus. It’s everything the instructor needs without anything they don’t. To achieve this, I matched individual course objectives with the pre-existing content. BAM: Textbooks customized to specific course content, in order of the instructor’s lesson plans. Textbooks I worked on included: The Decisive Writer and Music Listening Today. For the latter, I created a custom textbook with 43 chapters, but the real pièce de résistance came in the form of the 600+ quiz questions I wrote for the course’s learning objectives.
